Hello!   650 miles COMPLETED 2022!!!!!!!!

People sometimes ask me WHY I RIDE.  Here are my answers.

In July I will be a  10 year SURVIVOR!  I ride to CELEBRATE LIFE with all of the other survivors.

I ride to REMEMBER cancer fighters who are no longer able to share life and love with their families and friends.

I ride to ENCOURAGE those currently fighting cancer. Simply put, cancer is scary. It requires great courage to fight it every day; sometimes every hour. My riding as a survivor shows them it CAN be done with Roswell’s help.

I ride to EMPOWER care givers. Family and friends often feel powerless because they cannot take away the cancer, the fear, the pain or the side effects. Donating to The Ride is a powerful way to eventually remove all of those things from everyone’s lives.

I ride to bring HOPE. Roswell is focused every day on learning something NEW to TREAT, CURE or PREVENT cancer. With our support, cancer WILL NOT bring fear, pain, side effects or grief to our descendants.

This year Jessica and I will Ride for Roswell on June 25.

In addition, I pledge to ride 600 miles for Roswell (in smaller increments!) between now and June 25.

On MY ride days, I will put a name on the back of my jersey – “in Honor of” or “in Memory Of” someone who is fighting cancer or has fought cancer. It will be my pleasure to ride for so many wonderful people.
