This is my eleventh year riding for Roswell. We started our team and the first year it was just Pat and I. The second year family and friends joined us. That year 14 of us raised over $6,000. The third year we put together a team of 27 and raised over $13,000. Year four we had 34 riders and raised $16,889. By year five we had 35 riders and raised $16,968. In year six we had 25 riders and raised $14,600 And then in year seven (even with the pandemic) we had 36 riders and they raised $15,645. The eighth year was another year with covid but our team came through again raising over 13,377. The ninth year we raised $13,874 with 19 friends and family riding for a cure. The tenth year we raised over $15,055 with 19 riders. That brings our total to over $126798. This year we have set our sights a little higher (and I know it sounds like a tough hill to climb but I know our team is up to the challenge). We would like you to help us any way you can, from riding on the best team riding for Roswell (Al"s Heroes) to donating to one of our riders or volunteering on one of the routes (just go to the Rideforroswell.org site Al's Heroes). With your help we can beat this cancer thing and as you may know I am beating it with the help of donations that fund research from riders and teams like our team, Al's Heroes. With one in two men and one in three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
