It's that time of year again and I will be back in the saddle soon putting some miles on my bike! The Lord blesses me every day and I have hope for all who are struggling with cancer and the side effects of treatment. Prayers for you all! This is truly an amazing event and I am proud to be a part of it. My 21st year riding in memory of my younger sister, Therese, who lost her battle to cancer in 2003 and more recently my cousin Diane in 2017. In June of 2021 I was given a cancer diagnosis and sent to Roswell for treatment. After chemo, radiation and 4 outpatient surgeries, on 12/17/21 I was told my cancer is in remission! Two years down, three to go! My nephew's son, Jayden has come through from a long battle with cancer including two stem cell treatments. Praise God for all the talented people at Roswell! Cancer sucks as does all illnesses that take precious life away from our family and friends. Since I can do something about it, I AM! I ride to raise money to support the efforts of research to find a cure and help those fighting cancer. You too can do something about it...you can join me in the ride or you can make a donation to END CANCER. Thank you for your support!
