As time moves on, it seems my story related to The Ride for Roswell sounds the same year after year. Most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer in some fashion. This year, as I prepare for the Ride, my brother is in hospice care, the doctors having done as much as they can to remove the cancerous masses invading his body. The list of those we’ve lost continues to grow. Again, we’ll ride because it's what we can do, hoping to make a difference, hoping for less losses and more survivors, and hoping that someday this nasty, horrible disease can be eradicated forever. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The advances in prevention and treatment discovered at Roswell each year help bring us ever-closer to a cure. In 2024, the awesome Ride volunteers and staff will continue to support the riders in our common quest to fight cancer on behalf of our wonderful donors. I know there are many worthy causes to which you can contribute but, if you can help us with this critical battle, I would be honored to represent your donation. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
