When writing out this personal fundraising message I wasn't sure which way I should take the tone. I could list out all of the loved one's I've lost and how others have been impacted but I remembered everyone has a similar story. This is why I and everyone else rides for Roswell.
I started riding for Team Salvadore back in middle school, stayed with it in High School even skipping my Graduation to Ride in the Peloton, stuck with it throughout college and now I'm here out in the real world. Looking back at all of these "Milestones" the ride became a part of my life. Each year I go to the opening ceremonies to ground myself. Watching the fighters and survivors walking in parade with their doctors, I realize there are patients fighting for the same milestones I was able to experience. So I continue to try and raise money for Roswell Park, hoping that one day we can live in a world without cancer.
