I had hoped that each year I joined the Ride for Roswell, it would get easier. Each year, I ask for donations and friends and family give me the name of someone they want me to write on my leg, as a way of honoring their memory and their fight against cancer. I carry my mom and my dad’s and my dogs Maggie and Bane above my knees so that when my head hangs low, I see them. It gives me the strength to keep going.
I write my sister’s name on one arm, and a dear friend on the other. The Ride is a way for me to help, to fight, to celebrate my angels and loved ones.
This year, my team will ride in their 8th Ride for Roswell, with this being my 11th. We’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars and we will do so again this year, stronger than ever
Please consider donating to this year’s Ride. The funds are needed more than ever. Thank you in advance.
