Team Founders, Adam and Dan Draudt, have seen the impact Roswell Park has in the lives of cancer patients and know firsthand how cancer can turn lives upside down. In 2021, Adam was told he had multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells that causes bones to weaken. Luckily, doctors caught Adam’s cancer early, and he was able to fight back through stem cell treatments and chemotherapy. As of February 2022, he is fully in remission. The diagnosis, however, flipped Adam and his family’s world around.

While Adam was undergoing treatment, Dan sought out a way to take action for cancer patients like his brother. He signed up for the Ride for Roswell, wanting to make an impact for future generations. With Adam’s help, they raised more than $35,000 for cancer research in 2021!  In 2022, the brothers continued their fundraising efforts, raising another $32,000 for the Ride. In 2023 the team raised 52,000 THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED!!!

This year the team is shooting high for $33,000 in fundraising to put their team total over $100K.  Please consider joining our team this year, "MADaboutcancer", and help us get to our next financial goal. You can ride  any route from 5 miles to 100 miles. 

Team MADaboutcancer is holding a meat raffle May 11th, 2024 at the Lake Erie Italian Club.  Doors open at 6. Raffle starts at 7. 50/50, basket raffle. $10 pre sale, $12 at the door. Ticket includes pop and draft beer. Pizza for sale by the slice. Cash bar available.
