My purpose for supporting and riding the ESR is a bit selfish.

   Raising funds for Roswell is deeply satisfying, especially when they get closer to ending cancer every year and knowing I and my sponsors helped is an amazingly visceral feeling of pride..

   I mentioned my bit of a selfish feeling.  This is because every year my intense riding has a personal benefit.   My cancer has been growing aggressively since 2021 after 7 yrs cancer free.  But for the months after my summers of riding growth of my cancer cell growth slows substantially.  

I get a tremendous amount of support for 80 miles a day from the ride, the volunteers, my family and fellow riders.   At 76 yrs and I believe the oldest rider I appreciate all the support I can get.

My personal sponsors have their donations multiplied 23 times, 2300% by the corporate supporters and their generous sponsorships.

So this deal is a win-win-win-win!
