This is more than just a bike ride. I am participating in a cycling adventure across New York State to end cancer. Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer, and this is my opportunity to change the state of cancer research for good. It is a journey of hope for the future !
This will be my 7th year riding for my family and friends that I have lost to this terrible disease - Grandma, my niece Rachel who left us way too soon, cousin Bernadette and good college friends in Kathy O'Connell and Kathy Noonan. I ride to honor my niece Jenn and cousin Lenny as well as many coaches and former athletes I know who fight each day for their quality of life. I ride for LaTaje Jae and Andrea Emmanuel who left us way too soon they fought the good fight.
