This year I chose to register with the Ride for Roswell because Roswell helped save my best friend's life 5 years ago. Not only is she my best friend, she is my nephew's mother. She was diagnosed with stage 0 DCIS on 3/28/19. 5/21/19 pathology showed it wasn't only DCIS but TNBC that had metastasized to her lymph nodes. After a double mastectomy a much later stage diagnosis was presented. Stage 3a TNBC (BRCA1 & BRCA2). The news was terrifying for her and everyone who loved her. She then started 16 rounds of 4 different types of chemo and 28 sessions of radiation. Roswell did an outstanding job saving her life. I am FOREVER grateful. Having Urgent Dental Care sponsor this event means the world to me. My friend still struggles with long term dental issues due to all the chemo during treatment. Being able to help get Urgent Dental Cares name out in the community could possibly be life saving. Our same day, next day appointments cant be found anywhere else, along with our professionalism.
