On June 22 I will be biking 45 miles in the 2024 Ride for Roswell in Buffalo, raising funds for Roswell Park Cancer Center in memory of my Father Randy Sierens.
We lost my Father Randy in January this year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dad was a remarkable man and he leaves behind an immense legacy of love, kindness and energy that he shared with his family, friends and community. This Ride for Roswell is an opportunity to build on my Dad's legacy; the energy and spirit he shared will live on and money raised will benefit patients for years to come.
My Dad underwent months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments from the Wilmot Cancer Center in Rochester. After we discovered the cancer in my Dad's liver was progressing quicker than anticipated, we looked into Roswell's liver cancer treatment options, but very soon after my Dad went into the hospital for the final time. I know there are countless patients who benefit from Roswell's service and research, just like Wilmot Cancer Center in Rochester, which is why this fundraiser is very meaningful to me.
Please consider donating to my Ride for Roswell fundraiser. Together we will help patients battling cancer and also help the families that are providing critical support to their loved ones, with the goal of someday ending cancer!
