Our team, Rad.Med.Xfactor, will Ride for Roswell on June 22, 2024. We are committed to ride to benefit our patients and their families and for continued research that truly makes a difference to everyone that has to fight this hideous disease.  

Each year I become more and more committed to raising the funds needed to continue making huge strides in the fight to end cancer.   I ride to HONOR my FAMILY members who have been dealt the cancer card.  I ride in honor of my daughter, a beautiful gift in my life, as she fought like the amazing person she is to conquer cancer.  I've always been motivated and passionate about this ride but this one brings it to a whole other level!!!! May they all continue to thrive despite the C word.  Also, I ride in GRATITUDE to the PATIENTS, past and present, who make me love my job but hate the need for it.  You all make me a better person everyday. It's my way to high five those patients that have turned into friends, the ones who come back to visit and update me on their lives.....10 years or more after treating them. They make coming to work meaningful. A purpose fulfilled.  I also ride in MEMORY of a dear patient that turned into family. He and his family truly helped me be a better Radiation Therapist.  It was a pleasure and an honor to be one of Jerry's Angels. I ride because in the 19+ years I have been working as a radiation therapist at Roswell Park, I have seen changes that have lead to survival. Changes that mean quality of life. There is still so much work to do. There are still so many people I want to come visit me years after treatment. But we need your help to find ways to help them survive with a good quality of life.
