My Ride for Roswell this year is to honor and remember our Millie. She was a happy silly girl who loved life and greeted everyone she met with a smile. She was the joy and the love of our lives. Millie was named after my husband's mom. Millie Armon volunteered for Roswell to help those struggling with cancer. Tragically, she herself developed cancer and was treated at Roswell, and lost her life to cancer.
I ride to honor our Millies' lives - and to honor and to remember family and friends - mine and yours - who have been impacted by cancer.
Ride for Roswell is one of the nation’s largest charity cycling events that brings a community of people together to celebrate cancer survivors, pay tribute to those we’ve lost and share in the passion that connects us all: finding cures for cancer.
I will ride the 30 mile route in Buffalo with other riders.
Thank you for sharing in my ride and contributing to the mission of Roswell Park. Your donation will help to fund research to bring an end to this devastating disease, and provide medical treatment and mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness to those in need of support.
Be well. Be happy.
