Greetings. Cancer touches each of us with its wicked claw in some way. We all have family members and friends who were claimed, touched, or have beaten cancer. Cancer knows no boundaries: it does not care if you are rich or poor, man or woman, what color your skin may be, where your ancestors came from, or what country you live in. For me, it is personal: both of my parents are cancer survivors, my father in-law is a cancer survivor; I have several other family members and friends who are survivors or victims.
Statistically, one in two men and one in three women in America will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
If you cannot donate money at this time consider donating your time (this ride succeeds because of a strong volunteer force) or become a rider yourself. In any case, thank you for taking the time to read this note.
Yours Truly,
Chuck Ogin
