Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind. Cancer has taken close friends, and family members from me of all ages. I have participated in the Ride for Roswell, bald for bucks, and even taught at the Ice Cycle! Roswell holds a special place in my heart for many reasons and cancer research is something that has kept many people in my life still around. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2022 Ride for Roswell.
This Year I am doing something a little different. Although Felix's Cats is in honor of my father, and mother, this year its a little different. I am riding in memory of a few people who have impacted me, and made a difference in my life.
One person I ride for every year is my dear friend Crystal, who battled very hard for almost 5 years. Never a day went by she didn't fight with everything in her. Until the very end she was smiling, laughing, and always wanted to know the latest gossip.
The other person is my coworker Kristen. She was not only a caring, courageous person, but she was truly was a light in our world at Be Moved Fitness. I am so thankful to have worked with her.
Join me in supporting, thanking, and loving Roswell for the constant care they give.
Please consider donating today. Together, we can end cancer!
