Help Us Raise $1,000 in honor of our brother-in-law Michael Peck & the many families like the Proulx family who travel to Buffalo for life-saving care. The Weaver family would be honored to have you donate $5 or more in honor of your loved one battling or in their honor.
Mike is doing great after battling several years with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer and will continue his treatment for the next couple of years to ensure it doesn't return again. We will be wearing our TEAM PECK shirts proudly & honored to carry a card with your loved ones' names.
Shayleigh is a 22-year-old young lady who on the week of her mother's wedding, was rushed to the hospital for stroke treatment and was diagnosed with leukemia. Obviously, life events are put on hold and she continues to fight with her mother by her side for the last 8 months staying at Kevin Guest House.
There are endless stories like Mike and Shayleigh of brave individuals & their caregivers who stop everything facing some of the worst days of their lives. We formed our first-ever Team Kevin to spotlight the many families who travel to Buffalo and additional expenses, often struggling with basic necessities like food & shelter. Roswell Park provides quality-of-life programs that support patients staying at Kevin Guest House to help ease the financial burdens these families face. Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding researchers need right now to investigate new treatment options that could save lives. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Much like the families who come to Buffalo, Mike and my sister Shelby had to make life adjustments over the last few years. Our uncle Mike has been bravely fighting stage 4 rectal cancer in Atlanta & kicking cancer every day. At 41 it was unexpected & flipped their lives upside down but Mike & Shelby were so steadfast, positive & determined to get through this together. His parents Cheryl & Mike stopped everything to be there to help with Melody & Summer for much of the last few years and the wonderful friend support in their community each day. We pray every day his prognosis stays positive and he continues to heal, recover and reach full remission.
As you know The Ride For Roswell is near and dear to my heart, not only running the event for nine years before moving onto Kevin Guest House when Helena arrived, but also because Roswell Park Cancer Institute saved my father Tex and my mother in law Norma lives. Each year, I remember my Uncle Jeff who unfortunately passed from a 7 year battle with cancer & to honor my family who stood by him the whole way.
We'd be honored to wear the name of your loved one on Ride day if you write their name in the comments area while donating! Or if you’d prefer to donate directly to Roswell Park families staying at Kevin Guest House, you can chose to support them below.
Truly, thank you for considering supporting us! Lynsey, Cameron, Helena & Bradley
