I'm a bit late to the game this year but I think I have a pretty valid excuse. My wife brought our second child into our lives this year and that beautiful silly little girl has monopolized most of what little free time I had left and I couldn't be less mad about that. That leads me into yet another reason why I'm so proud to be part of the Ride for Roswell for another year. Roswell has given my children and I the priceless gift of my mother's presence in our lives for another year and many more to come. Watching my kids light up by the mere mention of grandma is a blessing that I will never take for granted. My mother Michelle has always been a selfless and loving person to everyone she meets. My children and my nephews know this on a supercharged level, and this is all thanks to the continuing care she receives at Boswell.Fortunately for us my mothers battle with cancer continues, and unfortunately for her it has not been an easy fight. The strength and fortitude she has show in her fight with cancer has truly been inspiring and makes me proud to call her mom. Having a facility like Roswell in our community is invaluable to all of us who dream of a world where cancer no longer exists. I'm proud to ride with my family every year and raise money to help fund the research that will hopefully soon make my wish come true. Any donations to me and my team Peters Pals is greatly appreciated. We ride in memory of my Uncle Peter, and in honor of my Mother Michelle and Aunt Susie who have fought cancer and never gave up!! I will also be guest bartending at Fattey Beer Co. in Kenmore on June 18th(5-10pm) along with my brother Kyle and brother in law Kevin to raise funds for our team. For every purchase made through us that night $1 of that money will go to our fundraiser for the Ride. Be sure to visit Fattey if you haven't because businesses like that in our neighborhood deserve our support. They willing give up profits to help us raise money in a fun way for a cause that is near and dear to many of us!! Join us for a beer and help support our efforts to rid the world of cancer once and for all!!
