Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind. But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2021 Ride for Roswell!
I am riding for many folks I know who have been touched by cancer, but 3 specifically:
- Angela Murphy, an newly married friend who had her challenges with cancer. We are so happing to be riding with her this year. Go Angela!
- Chris Butcher, a good friend we lost in August of 2020. He was truly a "superman" in his cancer fight for over 7 years.
- My sister, Dr. Diane Wonch, who has fought the good fight many times.
I will also be riding with my wife, Meg Wonch and son Adam Wonch! This is her 4th Ride and we will be doing the 30-mile UB Loop. Here is her page if you wish to support her: Ride for Roswell 2024: Mrs. Margaret Wonch - The Ride For Roswell (roswellpark.org)
This is Adam's 2nd! So happy for him to join us. Here is his page if you wish to support him: Ride for Roswell 2024: Mr. Adam Wonch - The Ride For Roswell (roswellpark.org)
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
