Young adults ages 19-39, a largely unknown group in the war on cancer, account for approximatly 72,000 new diagnosis yearly. When compared to all other age groups, survival rates and quality of life for this group has not improved in 30 years! Roswell is addressing this disparity. Young adults face daunting challenges with dating, fertility, insurance, employment, return to work and living after the devastation of cancer treatment and always the fear fo relapse - a disease that remains their back story for the rest of their young lives! Please join the Love Fest team or donate to one of our team members.
My participation and support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute is in loving memory of my two children, Keith and Kali; and all children whose lives have been taken by cancer; and hope for positive outcomes for children and young adults diagnosed!
With one in two men and one in three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
