For the last 12 years I have done the ride for roswell in honor of my late mother Melissa Reed Chudy. She fought breast cancer, went into remission, then it came back and spread to liver, lymph nodes, brain etc. It FUCKING sucked. TECHNICALLY SHE DIDN'T LOSE, SHE TIED. But Roswell took incredibly good care of her and it is in her memory that I wake up at the ungodly hour of 4:30 am to ride 45 miles each year for this incredible event.
Our team Missy's Extra Milers has raised well over $350,000 for Roswell Park since it's inception. During that time we have been the number 1 non-corporate fundraising team 4 times (with less than 15 members) Last year, with your help I raised a personal best of $5100. This year I am looking to more than double that. To everyone who was touched by her(metaphorically) amazing energy and kindness, resilient spirit (which she had even till the very end) I urge you to give.
As a bonus, like the last six years, anyone who donates 100 dollars or more can ask for a picture or video of me doing something of their choice provided it does not involve possible arrest. In fact, one donation of $500 got me to get a mowhawk, which is now part of my passport and drivers license for 10 years...
