Cancer has touched the lives of so many people in my family, in my friends' families, and around our community. Let's join forces to fight back!
I will soon cut off nearly a foot of my hair LIVE on air during News 4 Wake Up to create a wig for someone fighting cancer. Together, we can use this opportunity to help find a CURE for cancer so someday no one will have to fight.
I’m Goin’ Bald for Bucks to raise critically needed funds for cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate, innovative patient-care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. You can help me make a difference by supporting my efforts in Goin’ Bald for Bucks.
Please consider making a donation today. No donation is too small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than any one of us could accomplish alone. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
My Personal Blog
THE BIG DAY IS HERE!
We're now less than 24 hours away from the big cut and I am so excited!
Tune in to News 4 Wake Up Tuesday morning for full coverage. We will be chopping off nearly a foot of my hair during the Morning Rush, around 6:45 or so.
But please make sure you watch throughout the morning, as we share stories from Roswell Park patients and stylists who volunteer their time in the Resource Center.
Every month, the Resource Center gives away about 100 wigs to patients who have lost their hair during cancer treatments, and those wigs really make a difference, giving patients hope and courage to keep up their cancer battles.
My hair will likely not end up in the Resource Center. I'm donating to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program, which creates free wigs for organizations like the American Cancer Society.
I truly hope to make a difference for *all* cancer patients through our fundraising efforts for Roswell Park Cancer Institute to help continue critical cancer research.
Please give whatever you can. Any amount helps.
I initially set my fundraising goal at $500, but we've already met that and surpassed that. Let's raise as much as we can to help find a cure.
