I am riding for my sister, Janice Trudnowski, who has brain cancer. Her cancer, a grade IV glioblastoma, is a disease that has an 18-month average survival. Because of cancer research and clinical trials, she has survived an incredible six years and is still going strong.
Every single dollar helps - no donation is too small!! Last year our team raised almost $2k. In 2017 the ride teams together raised $4.7 million!!!!! All donations go directly to the hospital, Roswell Park, that treats my sister along with 36,000 other patients!
This year we have expanded our cycling team to 8 people (so far!) and we are riding in the 46-mile US-Canada route in order to raise more money for cancer research. ALL money goes to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center where Janice (who is well enough to be a 3-mile rider this year!!!) is treated for brain cancer!!
With one-in-two men and one-in-three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
