If you take a step back and think about it, cancer research and the treatments that are used have come a long way in the recent decades. Every day the research teams at Roswell Park take a new stride to create the latest cutting-edge treatments, so that the doctors can implement these practices and cure patients that are struggling from this gruesome disease. It is our duty to cheer on these heroic individuals and provide them with the emotional and financial support that they need to carry on every day.
I am not only an employee of this amazing Institute, but i am a patient as well. In October of 2016, at age 25, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Testicular Cancer. Upon diagnosis it was the most emotional and confusing experience of my life, but it was amazing to see firsthand how every person takes pride in their work and cares for the patients. It is with great pride and pleasure that I get to go to work every day and work along side this team of individuals.
2017 is my first year riding in this spectacular community event. I would like to thank you for your donation, because every dollar that is raised through the Ride For Roswell directly impacts the lives of those that may not have the opportunity to hop on a bicycle.
NOW LETS KICK CANCERS BUTT!!!
