I dedicate my ride this year to my hippie sister and friend Janet Yavener who was fierce in her cancer battle before dying
One out of two men and one in three women in America will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Most of us know someone who has successfully battled cancer. We also know someone who has had their life taken by it.
I ride this year in memory of my sisters’ Patsy and Maria, my Aunts Marion, Louise and Frances, my friends Jan Galbraith, Sister Maria, Eugene Domzalski, Michele Templin, Michael Goldsmith,Mrs DelNero, Joyce Gelsomino, Shawn Daoust, Brian Hansen, Joe Manno, Gary O’Neil, Joan Intorrer, Roseann Santa Maria, Coach Larry Bynum, David Florko, Daniel Popp, Kathy Silkes, Jeanne Smith, Judy Curlinghton, Barbara Tierney, Joyce Pittman Frank Dolce, nephew Mark Bufton, Eileen Paron, Bill Neff, Laura Olson, Helen, Emmet, Neil and Patrick Reilly.
