My friend, fellow spinning instructor, and long-time RFR rider Ken Rogers unexpectedly found himself in the category of "patient/survivor" when he filled out the registration form for this year's Ride. He was treated at RPCI through December for pharyngeal cancer and is now recuperating. I am riding in honor of Ken for this, the 22nd Ride For Roswell, with a goal of raising $22,222.
I'm also continuing to ride for our neighbor across-the-street, Lucy Rowland. Lucy was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma late in 2015. She is in remission but continues to be seen by her doctors at Roswell.
Please consider a generous donation to this year's Ride. Your gift makes possible not only the kind of hope and compassionate care that make cancer treatment more bearable, but also the research that promises the potential for cures for cancers like Ken's and Lucy's. Thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity!
