Some day I hope Cancer is only a zodiac sign!!!!
This is my second year participating in The Ride For Roswell on Saturday, June 22! This is much more than a bike ride for me — it’s my commitment to the fight to end cancer.
Unfortunately, cancer has made an impact on everyone, one way or another.
Personally, in the last year, I have been diagnosed with 4 malignant Basal Cell Carcinomas. And while I am so beyond thankful that this is the least invasive skin cancer; slow growing and not as likely to be life threatening as Squamous Cell or Melanoma.. It has been stressful and eye opening. On March 14th I will actually be having (hopefully my last) surgery at Roswell Park Cancer Institue with their MOHs team to remove my 4th Basal Cell. I will also be undergoing some testing in the future with Roswell and monitored every 3-6 months for any future skin cancer.
I've also had a lot of important people in my life win AND lose their fight with cancer. But we need more people winning that fight!!
Please help me raise critically needed funds, for cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate patient-care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Your donation to my ride will help provide the funding that the researchers at Roswell Park need in order to investigate new treatment options that can save lives. These therapies can provide cutting-edge treatment choices to patients in our own community and in cancer centers worldwide.
Please consider making a donation today to help me reach (and exceed) my fundraising goal. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
EVERY. DOLLAR. COUNTS!
Much love and positive vibes always,
