Some day I hope Cancer is only a zodiac sign!!!!
This is my second year participating in The Ride For Roswell on Saturday, June 22! This is much more than a bike ride for me — it’s my commitment to the fight to end cancer.
Unfortunately, cancer has made an impact on everyone, one way or another.
Since March 2018, I have been diagnosed with five malignant Basal Cell Carcinomas. And while I am so beyond thankful that this is a slow growing skin cancer (and most common); it's not as likely to be life threatening as Squamous Cell or Melanoma.. However, the constant biopsies and surgies has been stressful and eye opening. On March 14th I had my 4th Basal Cell Carcinoma removed at Roswell Park Cancer Institue with their MOHs team. This was my first procedure at Roswell...Their adminstration, doctors and nurses were so amazing!! From the time I checked in to the day I had my stitches removed. We are beyond lucky to have such an amazing cancer center right in our own backyard!
Outside of my own experience, I've also had a lot of important people in my life win AND lose their fight with cancer. We need more people winning the fight!!
Please help me raise critically needed funds, for cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate patient-care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Your donation to my ride will help provide the funding that the researchers at Roswell Park need in order to investigate new treatment options that can save lives. These therapies can provide cutting-edge treatment choices to patients in our own community and in cancer centers worldwide.
Please consider making a donation today to help me reach (and exceed) my fundraising goal. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
EVERY. DOLLAR. COUNTS!
Much love and positive vibes always,
