Beverly (mom), Melissa (sister), Peggy, Allison, Margaret, Carla, Randy, Carol, Bob, Mary, and Wendell... and the list goes on. These names are just a few of the loved ones in my life, or in the lives of those I love, who have had cancer. Cancer touches everyone's life. According to the America Cancer Society, in 2019 there will be an estimated 1,762,450 new cancer cases diagnosed in America. No one is beyond it's grasp. In 2018 I participated in the Empire State Ride in memory of my sister Melissa. During the seven day ride I listened to stories from survivors, stories about other riders' loved ones, and videos from those fighting for their lives as they get new treatments. In 2020 I am riding again to raise funds to end cancer and find a cure. I ride to encourgae others to think about their health and find their own journey. Life is precious.
Please consider making a dontation to my efforts today. No dontation is to small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than what any one of us could accomplish alone. Join me in making a difference.
