When I was young and dumb stepping into the medical field i would think to myself, why donate to or for a hospital. Dont these places generate enough revenue? Fast forward 10 years I find myself sitting in a chair next to my wife as she was starting a 6 month treatment of chemo which we were hoping would do the job surrounded by hundreds of people waiting and hoping for the same thing. One day while we are sitting there a middle aged gentleman comes over and starts doing some dime store magic tricks, another day a young man sits down and starts playing a wonderful spanish guitar song, an very elderly woman and her super slow walk was pushing a craft cart with a NATURAL BORN SURVIVOR shirt. I know none of these things cure cancer make ground breaking discoveries but things like that have the ability to maybe give that fighter that family member one second to think about something else when things are difficult to think about. I RIDE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SAT, WHO CURRENTLY SIT AND WHO WILL SIT IN THOSE CHAIRS.
