On April 5th, I’m participating in Bald for Bucks to help in the fight against cancer! I will be cutting off 8 inches of my hair to raise critically needed funds for cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate, innovative patient-care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Cancer is a disease that touches everyone, and I want to make a difference. You can help me make a difference by supporting my efforts in Goin’ Bald for Bucks.
I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor when I was 3 years old, and have permanant vision loss because of it. I experienced harsh chemotherapies, long hospital visits, and hair loss until I was 13. During that time, I knew I was always supported and that I did not have to feel like I was ever alone. It has been over 3 years since my last chemo treatment. I want to give back by donating my hair for the second time, and raising money to help Roswell's endeavors towards cancer research. No one should ever feel alone in their battle against cancer, and every penny donated will make a difference in the life of a fighter, and a survivor.
Please consider making a donation today. No donation is too small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than any one of us could accomplish alone. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
