I choose to Ride for many reasons- for those currently fighting, those who have won and for those who have lost the battle against cancer. I Ride in Memory of my Grandma Rita- my godmother and my role model- I miss her so much. I also Ride in memory of my husband's grandmother, Darlene Seiler, my mother-in-laws cousin, Julie Terrana and two friends of ours Kenneth Nugent and Dennis Carson who all lost their battles with cancer . I Ride in Honor of my Aunt Barb Nolan, who is a Leukemia/Bone Marrow transplant survivor, My Uncle Dave Puzan, who is a Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma survivor, one of my best friends Kelly Miller's mom, Dianna Regan, who is a Breast Cancer survivor and Kaila Doll, who beat a Wilms Tumor on her kidney. I also Ride for one of my best friends Brianna's cousins children- Sammy who is in remission for a second time against Clear Cell Sarcoma of the Kidney. I Ride in support of every/anyone who has been affected by cancer in any way.
Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 25th Anniversary Ride for Roswell on Saturday, June 27!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
