I have been doing this ride now for 4 years. This ride had originally started out to be, family fun, helping to raise money for cancer research, patient care programs at Roswell, and riding in support of and in memory of our loved ones. But little did we all know that a few years later cancer would hit close to home for our team. Our team mate, friend, sister, wife, step mother and mother of 2(who still does the ride with us) was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. So, the last few years of this ride has meant more to our team then ever. As you all know, I take a lot of pride riding and raising as much money as I can in honer of my Sister in law, and those fighting the battle against cancer. Every bit of your donations counts, and goes to a great cause. We really don't know how awful this disease is until it hits close to home, trust me! Please know, that with your donations you are helping others who need it the most. You are giving hope to all cancer patients and survivors that one day there will be a CURE, and cancer will be BEAT! I thank you on behalf of all the patients at Roswell who depend on Roswell, and I thank you for supporting my ride. It truly means the world to me to have your support, I am VERY passionate about The Ride for Roswell! With lots of love, Team Cure It <3
With one in two men and one in three women in America being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, most of us know someone who has been affected by this devastating disease. You can make a difference by supporting me and my team in The Ride For Roswell. Funds raised through The Ride support cutting-edge research and compassionate, innovative patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
